I drew the sketch for this picture a long time ago. You can find the sketch somewhere in my scrapbook ^^''.
It was during the time when "Pirates of the Caribbean" was shown at the cinema. This movie was also my inspiration for this picture. Actually I haven't liked mermaids for a long time. But the mermaids in this movie looked all really pretty, so that I also wanted to draw one.
As I finally planed to finish this picture I found a lot of mistakes on the old sketch, so that I needed to draw a new one.

I also tried to color it with water colour, because I thought that it fits. But I did a lot of mistakes. I need to practice more with this tool >.<...
